Nope. I have never had brunch in DC before. Never. Crazy I know, all the food I eat and I’ve never done it? Well Nikki changed that. This past Sunday, (because Sunday is THE brunch day) she invited me to join her and Kaoru for brunch at Birch and Barley.
What a great place to bring a first timer. Reservations are a must because this place is ah-mazing…and everyone knows it. All three of us opted for the Boozy brunch, which was $30 for a trio of donuts, 2 cocktails, bottomless tea or coffee and your entree. I went for the chicken and waffles, naturally.

I had such a great time, I will definitely want to go again. Great Sunday  making new friends, girl talk and drinking MIEMOsas. Love it.
